Terms of Service

1. The Service

RoSignal is an operations and automation platform for Roblox developers. It lets you connect your Roblox experiences and then message players, change live configuration, analyze telemetry, automate workflows, and moderate players from one dashboard. The Service is currently in early access and may change, gain, or lose features as it evolves.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You sign in using Roblox OAuth 2.0. You must be authorized to use the Roblox account you connect and, where applicable, old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (or have a parent or guardian's consent). If you use the Service on behalf of a studio, company, or other organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Roblox account and for all activity that occurs under your RoSignal account, including actions taken by team members you invite.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your own Roblox development operations, within the limits of the plan you are on. This is a license to use the Service, not a sale of any software or rights to you.

4. Authorization and Roblox connection

When you sign in, you grant RoSignal permission to access the Roblox data and perform the actions covered by the OAuth scopes you approve — for example, publishing messages and live configuration to experiences you select, and reading or updating the ban list for those experiences when you approve the user restriction permissions. RoSignal only acts on experiences you own or are authorized to manage, and only when you or a rule you configured triggers the action. You can revoke this access at any time from your Roblox account settings; doing so will disable features that depend on it. RoSignal is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Roblox Corporation.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or the Roblox Terms of Use or Community Standards.
• Send spam, scams, harassment, or harmful content to players through messaging or automation features.
• Access, probe, or disrupt accounts, experiences, or data that do not belong to you.
• Abuse Roblox APIs, circumvent rate limits, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, or use automation features to attack other services.
• Misrepresent your identity or your authority over a Roblox experience.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where this restriction is prohibited by law.
• Resell, redistribute, or provide access to the Service to third parties outside the team access features built into the product.
• Circumvent plan limits, usage quotas, or other technical controls of the Service.

You are responsible for the data you send into RoSignal from your games and for ensuring you have the right to collect and process it, including any player data included in your telemetry.

6. Your responsibility for automated actions

RoSignal executes the instructions you and your team configure — messages, live config changes, automations, moderation actions such as bans, and group rank changes. You are solely responsible for those instructions and their consequences, including their effects on your players, your experience, your group, and your standing with Roblox. RoSignal does not review, approve, or monitor the content or effects of the actions you configure, and is not responsible for outcomes produced by rules you create — including actions triggered automatically by schedules, thresholds, events, or API signals you set up.

7. Team access and audit logs

Experience owners can invite other RoSignal users as team members with specific roles. Owners are responsible for who they invite and for the actions those members perform. Actions taken through the Service are recorded in audit logs visible to the team, including the account that performed them.

8. Plans, billing, and our reseller

RoSignal is currently offered free of charge. No fees are payable and no paid plan can be purchased today. The billing, reseller, and refund terms in this section and the next take effect when paid plans launch, and only apply to purchases made from that point on. We will publish final plan pricing and limits before anyone is charged.

When paid plans launch, RoSignal will offer a Free plan and paid plans (Pro and Studio) billed monthly or yearly in US dollars. The limits of each plan are published on our pricing page. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. We may change plan pricing or limits, and will tell you before a change affects an active subscription.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, invoicing, currency, and tax are therefore governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Card details are entered with Paddle and never reach RoSignal's servers. Applicable VAT or sales tax is calculated and remitted by Paddle.

9. Refunds and cancellation

No charges have been made while the Service is free, so there is nothing to refund today. Once paid plans launch, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee: if RoSignal isn't right for you, request a full refund within 14 days of a charge through paddle.net or by contacting us, and Paddle will process it. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in the app; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account returns to the Free plan. Nothing you have created is deleted when you downgrade — you simply cannot add more than the lower plan allows, and shorter retention windows trim older history.

10. Service availability

Features may change, and the Service may be interrupted for maintenance or development. Founding Tester accounts are grandfathered on their existing terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and scheduled actions (such as scheduled messages) depend on third-party platforms like Roblox remaining available.

11. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your game data, configurations, and content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that data solely to provide the Service to you. The RoSignal name, logo, website, and software are our property and may not be copied or used without permission.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, abuse the Service, create a security or fraud risk, repeatedly or seriously violate our policies, or if required by law or by Roblox.

When your account is deleted, your stored OAuth tokens, connected experiences, configurations, and associated operational data are deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you want a copy of your data before deletion, contact us first and we will provide a reasonable export. Billing records are retained as required for accounting and tax purposes.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that automations will always execute on time, or that third-party APIs (including Roblox's) will remain available or unchanged.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoSignal and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost players, lost revenue, or lost goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service — including actions taken by automations you configure, messages you send to your players, or moderation actions applied through the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RoSignal and its operator from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: the content and data you send into or through the Service; the actions you or your team configure or trigger through the Service (including messages, automations, bans, and group rank changes); your unlawful use of the Service; or your violation of these Terms, of Roblox's rules, or of any third party's rights.

16. Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where the failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control — including internet or infrastructure outages, natural disasters, war, strikes, government actions, and outages, changes, or restrictions imposed by third-party platforms such as Roblox.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection right you have under the law of the country you live in.

18. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your account or these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, with notice to you.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "last updated" date and notify users of material changes through the app or our community channels. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
