Built in the open, shipped in small pieces.
RoSignal is early. This page is the honest record of what actually works today and when it landed — updated every time something ships.
- Latest
Announcements & first-run loop
Topic-less announcements that also reach Studio, and a guided setup that proves control, action, and automation in one minute.
- NewAnnouncements: send a message with no topic and RoSignal shows it via RoSignal.OnAnnouncement — from Messages, from automations (leave the topic empty), and in Studio play-tests, which MessagingService never reaches.
- NewSetup now ends with a guided Control → Action → Automation loop: change the Multiplier, show an announcement in Studio, and watch RoSignal fire one on its own five seconds later — each step confirms itself.
- ImprovedThe starter RoSignalHandlers file pops announcements up as an on-screen banner, and the docs cover RoSignal.OnAnnouncement.
Status & security
Measured uptime you can check yourself, and a page explaining exactly what RoSignal can touch.
- NewNew /status page: once a minute RoSignal makes a real request against the same public endpoint your game servers use, times it, and records the result — 24h/7d/30d uptime, response times, a 90-day daily strip and every failed check, with no smoothing.
- NewNew /security page covering Roblox sign-in, what the integration can and cannot reach, game keys, per-account data separation, team roles and audit trail, what is stored and for how long, transport and secrets, and how to report a problem.
- ImprovedLanding page shows the measured 30-day uptime figure once real checks exist, and the FAQ answers what happens during an outage and what RoSignal can see.
Code docs
A real documentation page for every method the plugin installs into your game.
- NewNew /docs page covering the whole Luau API: live settings (Get, GetFor, InRollout, HasOverride, Bind, OnKeyChange, OnChange), messages, Track, player traits, group ranks, moderation, and the RoSignalSettings map module — each with parameters, behaviour notes, and a copyable example.
- NewDocs sections on how the three inserted scripts fit together, what happens when RoSignal is unreachable, and the four things that actually go wrong in setup.
- ImprovedThe setup page no longer reprints the code the plugin already writes for you — it points at the docs instead.
- ImprovedDocs links added to the site header, footer, and the dashboard sidebar.
Template gallery
A public gallery where creators publish their own automations — installable into your game in one click.
- NewPublic community template gallery at /templates — every template is published by a creator, with author attribution.
- NewPublish any of your own automations from the rule menu or right after saving, with a title, description, and an optional Luau snippet showing how to fire the events the rule listens for.
- NewPrivate values (webhook URLs, segment and group IDs) are stripped on publish; installing a template asks you to fill those in before the rule can be enabled.
- NewReport button on every template — 3 reports auto-hide it, and admins can hide or restore from the admin panel.
- ImprovedThe Automations index shows the same searchable template gallery, so you can start from a shared recipe even when you already have rules running.
Roblox analytics, full depth
The Analytics page now shows everything Roblox's own API gives — and can act on it.
- NewNew Analytics → Roblox page with every metric Roblox's API supports: engagement, retention, monetization, and acquisition — each with its own history chart.
- NewAudience breakdowns: new vs returning players, country, platform, age group, gender, and locale, shown as ranked bars.
- NewBlended timeline: pick any Roblox metric and see it next to your own custom events on the same dates, with a 'what moved with it' list that ranks your events by correlation (labelled correlation, not cause).
- NewAutomations can now trigger on Roblox metrics — fire a rule when D1 retention, DAU, revenue, or concurrent players cross a line you set.
- ImprovedEvery metric reports its own honest status — empty, denied, or unavailable — so a missing number tells you why instead of looking broken.
- ImprovedThe Analytics overview keeps four headline Roblox numbers and links into the full page. Top-10k benchmark comparisons aren't available through Roblox's API, so deltas are shown versus your own trailing baseline instead.
Map
Export your place from the Studio plugin and see where every event actually happens.
- NewAnalytics → Map: an interactive isometric view of your place with a heatmap of any event. Pan, zoom, spin the camera, and change the range or detail level.
- NewThe Studio plugin can export a selection or your whole place. Only block outlines are sent — no scripts or assets.
- NewNew RoSignalSettings module you own: turn map positions off by default, allow-list events, or exclude a few. Per call you can also use RoSignal.Track(name, props, player, { map = false }).
- ImprovedHeat is aggregated in the database into grid cells, so the browser never receives raw player positions.
Your data stays
Permissions now stack instead of replacing each other, and RoSignal never removes an experience's data unless you explicitly ask it to.
- FixedGranting the moderation permission no longer drops the group permission (or the other way round) — each grant is added to what you already approved.
- ImprovedAn experience Roblox stops listing, or one beyond your plan's live count, is now marked paused instead of being removed. Every event, config, automation and record stays readable.
- NewA single explicit "Delete experience and all its data" action on the Usage page, owner-only and behind a typed confirmation, for when you want to free a slot.
Roblox's own analytics
The Analytics page can now show Roblox's first-party metrics — daily active players, sessions, and session length — right next to your own events.
- NewGrant the analytics permission from the Analytics page and a From Roblox panel appears with the metrics only the platform can see, cached so page loads stay fast.
- ImprovedLike every permission, it's opt-in and additive — granting it never disturbs the permissions you already have.
Real names for private games
Private and friends-only experiences no longer have to show up as numeric placeholders — an optional permission lets RoSignal read their real names.
- NewGrant the universe read permission from the experiences list and RoSignal resolves the real names of private experiences you manage, on connect and via Refresh names.
- ImprovedName lookup stays public-API-first — the new permission is only spent on experiences the public endpoints can't see, and a stored name is never downgraded by a failed lookup.
Group ranks
RoSignal can now read your Roblox group's rank ladder and change a player's rank — by hand, for a whole segment, from a rule, or straight from your game.
- NewGrant the group permission on the Groups page, link a Roblox group to your experience, and see its full rank ladder.
- NewLook up any player, see their current rank, and change it — every change is recorded with who did it.
- NewRank a whole segment at once, with a match count preview and a confirm step before anything is applied.
- NewNew automation action: change a player's group rank when a rule fires — same cooldowns, hourly caps, test runs and run log as every other action.
- NewYour game can rank a player in one line: RoSignal.SetRank(player, "Member") — promote-only by default, and logged in your rank history like every other change.
- ImprovedGroup actions count against a per-plan daily limit, and rank history is trimmed by the same retention rules as the rest of your data.
Player segments
Group your players once — by what they do or who they are — then use that group everywhere: analytics, rollouts, messages, and automations.
- NewBuild a segment from traits your game sends (level, VIP, country) and from what players did in a window — like 'spent robux in the last 7 days'.
- NewLive preview while you build: see how many of your known players match before you save.
- NewSegment pages show membership over time, growth versus the previous period, and the most recent members.
- NewMessage a segment: send or schedule to exactly that group of players.
- NewRoll out a Live Config value to a segment instead of a random percentage.
- NewNew automation triggers: fire when a player enters or leaves a segment.
- ImprovedSegments live in the sidebar under Understand, next to Analytics.
Analytics launchpad
The Analytics Overview is now a clean launchpad: Events, Funnels, and Releases each get their own sub-page, and the detailed event exploration moved to its own home.
- NewAnalytics Overview shows three cards — Events, Funnels, Releases — with live previews and one-click navigation to each section.
- NewNew Events page under Analytics hosts the full event explorer: range selector, filters, headline stats, property trend charts, movers, and event table.
- ImprovedSidebar Analytics group now lists Overview, Events, Funnels, and Releases so you always know where you are.
Property trends & rollouts
Analytics is rebuilt around property share over time — one chart per property, one line per value — and Live Config gains percentage rollouts for testing changes on a slice of your players.
- NewSelect an event and every property gets its own trend chart: one line per value (Sword vs Shield), over time, with your release marks drawn on top.
- NewThree ways to read each chart: share of events, share of players, and the average player's share — switch with one tap.
- NewCompare property values between releases: pick two versions, an event, and a property to see how the value mix shifted over equal windows after each.
- NewPercentage rollouts: give any Live Config setting a second value that only a slice of players receive — 10% get 20 damage, everyone else keeps 25. Players keep their group every session, and you can raise, pause, or promote the rollout any time.
- NewCheck a player: look up any username to see exactly which config value they get and why. Priority is player override → rollout → global value.
- NewTop movers and sessions: the events that rose or fell most versus the previous period surface at the top of the page, with session counts and median session length as headline stats.
- ImprovedAnalytics splits into Overview, Funnels, and Releases in the sidebar, and every panel respects the property filter chips.
- ImprovedTrend charts overlay the previous period as a dashed line, and funnels show median time between steps.
API watch triggers
Automations can now watch any number from the Roblox API — likes, visits, players in-game, group members — and fire the moment it crosses a line you set.
- NewNew trigger: a Roblox API value crossing your line. Pick from a list — likes, dislikes, favorites, visits, concurrent players, group members, followers, badge awards — or paste any Roblox API URL.
- NewClick the value you care about in the live JSON response — no paths to type or guess.
- NewChecks run every minute and fire once when the line is crossed — likes going from 9,998 to 10,004 fires once, not every minute it stays above.
- ImprovedAPI checks share one polite poll per endpoint and back off automatically when Roblox rate-limits, so the feature scales with the whole site.
Automations, leveled up
One rule can now run a whole chain of steps, start from a config change or a webhook, and prove itself in a dry run before it touches your game.
- NewMulti-step rules: one trigger can send a message, change a setting, and ping Discord — in the order you set.
- NewNew triggers: react when a live setting changes, fire a rule from any service with its own secret webhook URL, and schedule weekly rules (every Friday at 18:00, and so on).
- NewNew actions: kick or ban the player who triggered the rule, with extra safeguards — longer cooldowns and a confirmation before such a rule can go live.
- NewDry run: test a rule against your real recent events and see exactly what would have happened — nothing touches your game.
- ImprovedEvery run now shows each step's result, which conditions passed or failed, and which player was involved — plus per-rule stats: runs, success rate, players affected.
Understand deeper, react sharper
Funnels, release tracking, and automations that react to the player who triggered them.
- NewFunnels: chain 2–5 events you already send and see where players drop off.
- NewReleases: mark a version when you ship — new Studio versions are detected automatically — and compare the numbers before and after.
- NewAutomation conditions: only fire when event properties match, like robux > 500.
- NewPlayer-aware actions: message or override a setting just for the player who triggered the rule.
Moderation
Ban, kick and unban players from RoSignal — and see whether the game actually enforced it.
- NewBan players by Roblox username, permanently or for a set time, and kick them instantly.
